Maura Johnson
Director of Housing
Maura M. Johnson serves as Director of Housing for Penny Lane Centers and Abbey Road, Inc., overseeing the acquisition, development, and operations of transitional and permanent affordable housing. Since 2016, she has led efforts on more than 460 units across multiple phases of construction and development, while managing asset and resident services for over 300 supportive and transitional units. Previously, she completed 15 projects serving 600+ residents, including mixed-use spaces, historic restorations, and recapitalized properties. Maura holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor’s degree from Holy Cross College.

Kenneth Bank
Senior Project Manager
Ken oversees all phases of affordable housing development, including acquisition, financing, design, entitlements, and construction. With experience dating back to 2000, he has helped deliver over 1,350 units across roles at A Community of Friends, AMCAL Multi Housing, and Domus Development. At ACOF, he led the development of 607 supportive housing units. At AMCAL, he managed acquisitions resulting in 439 market-rate and affordable units. At Domus, he oversaw or acquired 306 affordable units. Ken has also worked as a principal, where he developed and sold 117 units. His work reflects deep experience across both nonprofit and private sectors.

Nicole Poole
Senior Asset Manager
Nicole Poole brings over 20 years of experience in property management, with expertise in commercial, affordable, and conventional housing. A graduate of Southern University at New Orleans, she has overseen multifamily and single-family portfolios, risk management, compliance, investor relations, and design coordination across multiple states. Nicole has successfully managed the acquisition and disposition of over 2,500 units and is well-versed in a wide range of affordable housing programs. She holds certifications as a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM), and is a licensed Realtor.

Sean Alred
Assistant Project Manager
Sean supports the housing team by assisting with project coordination, administrative tasks, and financial processing to ensure smooth development operations. Though new to housing development, he brings 16 years of experience in housing services, offering valuable insight from a service provider perspective. He holds a B.S. in Organizational Leadership and an MBA from Los Angeles Pacific University.
